Lisa is a self-taught Abstract artist who discovered painting as a form of expression during the early days of the Pandemic. Art gave her a voice when words failed.
She paints intuitively and draws inspiration from the natural world. Trees, rocks and water figure prominently in her work. Her preferred medium is acrylic paint, and she uses charcoal, graphite, pastel and water soluble crayons and inks for her expressive marks.
She is an active member of the Credit Valley Artisans and is a proud member of the CVA Studios and Gallery in Norval. Her work has been displayed at the Helson Gallery, Heather’s, Young’s Pharmacy, and Southpaw Coffee Shop. Her paintings hang in a permanent exhibit in Guelph, Ontario.
